Dr. Borgos is an experienced breast surgeon, who has initiated and built several breast care programs including the first NAPBC accredited program in the state of Pennsylvania at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Dr. Borgos was also critical in implementing the first Tomosynthesis (3D) mammography unit at her last position in
Dr. Borgos graduated from Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1995. She completed an internship, residency and chief residency in General Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Subsequently, she completed a surgical critical care fellowship at R. Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Early on in her surgical career, she developed a passion for treating breast disease.
Dr. Borgos is native to New Jersey, growing up in nearby Glen Ridge and is a graduate of Glen Ridge High School. “It’s great to be home again! I am very excited to start the next chapter in my career, which includes treating the community that I know so well.
